Recruiting

Applicant screening

Applications are summarized against the role, with the reason shown for each judgment.

Five hundred applicants were screened far faster.

Implementation details

Resumes are parsed from the applicant-tracking export, scored against a written rubric with a language model, and returned with a supporting excerpt. No candidate is rejected automatically. The output is a ranked review list.

Academic publishing

Manuscript checks

Submissions are checked against the house rules as they arrive.

Issues are found before editorial review starts.

Implementation details

Submissions are converted to structured text, checked with deterministic rules for the house style, references, and required sections, and returned as a report. Deterministic checks are used wherever the rule is unambiguous.

Beverage distribution

Field-team answers

Representatives ask in plain language and receive an answer with its source page.

Field representatives answer on the spot instead of calling the office.

Implementation details

A retrieval-backed assistant uses the company's playbook. The document is chunked and indexed. Answers are generated only from retrieved passages, and each answer cites its source page. The index is private to the client's workspace.

How it works

Start with the work holding your team back

We build around your current tools where practical. This reduces disruption and avoids unnecessary new software.

  1. 01

    Show us the operational bottleneck

A description or short screen recording is enough. We can also work from an existing technical brief.

  2. 02

Map the workflow, exceptions, and approvals

We document the normal path, exceptions, access, approvals, and failure cases.

  3. 03

Build and test the agreed improvements

We validate the prioritized workflows and related improvements against real scenarios. The pilot is a working build, with production rollout planned separately.

  4. 04

Hand over the pilot and define the production path

Your team tests the pilot. You receive the source code, documentation, and a roadmap for production.

Who you work with

Direct collaboration, without agency layers

Unstuck Ops is an independent AI engineering studio. You work directly with the AI engineer who designs and builds the system, from workflow mapping through testing and handover.

There are no account-manager handoffs. There is no discovery phase that ends with only a slide deck. Our work includes operational systems in distribution, healthcare administration, recruiting, and publishing. We work with business owners and existing technical teams.

Every project begins with the exceptions, approvals, and practical details of how the work happens today.

  • Direct collaboration
  • Senior-level implementation
  • No account-manager handoffs
  • Client-owned deliverables
FAQ

Questions owners actually ask

What happens in the free workflow review?

We look at your operational bottlenecks, the systems involved, and the important exceptions. You receive an honest assessment of where AI could help and whether a paid pilot makes sense. Detailed workflow mapping, technical design, and implementation begin with a paid engagement.

What does a pilot cost, and how long does it take?

An AI workflow pilot costs $2,500 and takes two weeks. The pilot can cover related workflows and improvements. We agree on priorities and deliverables together to fit the two-week engagement. You receive the source code, documentation, and evaluation findings. Production deployment, extensive integrations, and security or compliance hardening are scoped separately.

Will this work with our current software?

In many cases, yes. We confirm supported integrations and permissions before proposing a workflow. We can also collaborate with your technical team and hand over code and documentation without replacing systems that already work.

How do you protect our data and keep us in control?

We agree on access, data handling, and security requirements before connecting client systems. Access is limited to what the workflow needs, with human approval for sensitive actions and exceptions. Automated actions can be logged for review.

What happens after the pilot, and who owns the work?

You own the delivered code and documentation. Your team tests the result and decides whether to proceed; there is no obligation to commission production. Deployment and support are scoped separately, and we explain third-party hosting or usage charges before work begins.
